JAMES JOSEPH STACCONE
James J. Staccone was born on February 7th, 1930, and he passed away June 19th, 2012. His parents were Italian immigrants who came through Ellis Island in 1920. They raised a large family in Williamsport, Pa. James moved his family to Florida in 1964.
He worked in sales for 25 years at Mac Papers in Tallahassee.
He is survived by his three children: Vic (Kaye), Suzanne (James), Stephanie (Kelly), five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. His surviving siblings are Gertrude Sepe, Joseph Staccone, Phillip Staccone, Jr., and Joanne Paucke. He was preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Nelda, who was survived by her four children and their families.
Services will be held at Culley's MeadowWood funeral home, Timberlane Chapel, on Friday at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee
