JOHN N. ADKINS, a well-known resident of the Myersville area died at his home, Wednesday night, age 78 years. He was a son of the late John Lewis Adkins. He is survived by his wife, Mary Freda Adkins; one daughter, Mrs. Ruth Jackson, Highland; two sisters; Mrs. Grover Green, Graceham, Mrs. William O. Toms, Garfield; one stepbrother, Daniel Linton; grandchildren.
The body rests at the funeral home in Middletown where it will remain until 1:30 Saturday afternoon, at which time it
will be removed to the Church of the Brethren Harmony where services will be held 2 p.m. Interment at Harmony Cemetery.
