Annie was born in Campbellton, Texas on December 25, 1927. She passed from this life Monday, June 25, 2012, surrounded by her family. Annie married Julio Caballero on February 27, 1949 in Campbellton. They moved to New Home in 1952 and in 1979 moved to Wilson. Julio preceded her in death on April 3, 1999. Annie continued living in Wilson until 2010, when she moved to Slaton to be with her family. Annie worked on the farm, later worked for Methodist Hospital for 19 years and for Cooper ISD for 5 years retiring in 2004. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and she was a homemaker. Annie has been preceded in death by her son Elias Leo Caballero on Aug. 10, 1993.
Her survivors include the love of her live, Chico; her daughters, Bebe (Perry) Jamison of Slaton, and Melva (Alberto) Gutierrez of Lubbock; sons, Lloyd (Gail) of Lubbock, Henry of New Home, Julio Jr. (Caryn) of Brownfield, and Robert (Sylvia) of Lubbock; brothers, J.J. Llamas, Martin Llamas both of Campbellton, Inez Llamas of Deer Park, and Roy Llamas of Houston; sisters, Avalina Lopez of Houston, Margarita Zepeda of Rosenberg, Oralia Hasette of Tilden and Lillie Molina of Calliham; along with 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
