William E. Paxton, son of John Moore Paxton and Cathy Ann McMahan, was married to Mary Jane Heizer, and was the father of Elizabeth Louellen Paxton. She was married to James Henry Paxton. (Her first cousin)

The Old Ebenizer Church Cemetery holds about Two hundred graves. Only three stones has markers. When the new Ebenizer Church was built several years ago, the church forgot all about the old cemetery. Today you will find it in very poor condition.

Should you wish to visit the cemetery be sure to dress for the occasion by wearing long pants and shirt.

It is a shame that with as many members that Ebenizer Church has they could not take one afternoon and clean the old cemetery.

Oh by the way, the new church cemetery is very nicely.Civil War Veteran
