She was born on November 25, 1859 in Floyd County, Kentucky. She has a brother and sister, Thomas and Mary E. She also has nine half brothers and sisters from William’s first marriage to Mary Polly Stratton: John P, Harvey, James Bertrand, Rhoda Lodwisha, Nancy Jane, Alexander Bud, Ester Elizabeth, Wesley Casimere, Solomon Worth McGuire. Lula never married and is buried here with her brother Thomas that also never married. She died on July 8, 1884 in Floyd County, Kentucky and is buried at the Auxier Relocation Cemetery in Auxier, Floyd County, Kentucky at the age 24 yrs 7 months 13 days old at the time of her death according to her grave stone.
