Ruth Elizabeth Bryan passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012, in her home in Yukon, OK at the age of 60. Ruth graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1969 and went on to marry George Woodson Bryan Jr in 1970. Beloved by all, Ruth worked in the Mustang Public School System for 16 years and was a proud member of The Cross Baptist Church. Always a source of strength for her family, Ruth is survived by husband, George; daughter, Elizabeth Bales and husband Brent; son, Timothy Bryan; sisters, Helen Stillwell, and Catherine Hall and husband Clarence; and many more beloved family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Minnie Kanada; and brother, Orvil Kanada. Visitation for Ruth will be on Monday, July 2 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Sunny Lane Funeral Home. Services will be held at The Cross Baptist Church, 1516 SW 96th St., Oklahoma City, beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3, with a graveside service to follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery.
