The death of Mr. John Burns of the town of Chilton at 9 o’clock Tuesday last, removed from the midst of a wide circle of friends and acquaintances a man long known and respected. For thirty-two years past he has made his home at the residence of Patrick McConle.
The deceased was a native of Ireland and was born in the county of Donegal, Parish of Glen.
At the time of his death he was in his 56th years.
The funeral took place from St. Augustine church on Wednesday and was largely attended.
