Margaret Plemmons Henley of Little Rock, Arkansas, formerly of Waldron, Arkansas, passed from this life, Sunday, June 24, 2012 at her daughter's home after a short illness.
Margaret was born July 25, 1929 to A.J. Plemmons and Ruth (Humble) Plemmons in Oden, Arkansas.

Margaret was of the Methodist faith.

Margaret graduated from Waldron High School and then received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway, Arkansas. She was a teacher and homemaker and enjoyed playing Bridge with her family and friends.

Margaret leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, Debbie Cooper and Meegan Henley, both of Little Rock, Arkansas. Margaret is also survived by one aunt, Geraldine Garrett of Memphis, Tennessee, two nieces, Amanda Gail Ward of Indianapolis, Indiana and Marsha Hoover of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Ruth Plemmons; uncles Terry Humble & wife Norma of Harrison, Arkansas and Roland Humble and wife Doris of Benton, Arkansas.

Margaret's graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at the Duncan Cemetery in Waldron, Arkansas with Rev. Mike Kuner officiating. A reception will follow the service at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas. Arrangements are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Honorary pallbearer's will be Robert Lewis, Allen Dozier, Moe Shores and Danny Barnett.
