William was an orphan who came to live with Svend and Maren Lindquist around 1880. They lived in Red Cloud, Webster Co., Nebraska. William lived in Staplehurst from adulthood until his death (to my knowledge). He is buried in a potters field in Seward Cemetery.

William Lindquist, who several weeks ago fell on the icy sidewalk and fractured his hip, passed away Friday afternoon at an Omaha hospital. Mr. Lindquist has made his home in Steplehurst for many years. The past several months he has lived with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hartman and family. Funeral services will be held at the Hood Bros. mortuary in Seward this Wednesday afternoon. He was born at Elmira, NY, October 16, 1870.
