Arthur J. Naidl, age 82, of 1465 Highway H, Manitowoc, died Thursday night, April 1, 1993, at St. Joseph Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. The Rev. Carl W. Peters will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mr. Naidl was born October 22, 1910, in the Town of Kossuth, a son of the late John and Ida Siebert Naidl. He attended the Hillside Grade School at Manitowoc Rapids. Mr. Naidl farmed in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids all his life and was a Union Mason working for many contractors and retired from Masonry work 20 years ago. On October 23, 1934, he was married to Elsie Dickert at First Reformed Church, Manitowoc. He is a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Valders, of which he held many offices of the church. He was active in the Town of Manitowoc Rapids as a township supervisor and school board member. He was a member of BMPIU Local No. 12, and was an active participant of the Cato Vets Dartball team.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie; two sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence and Sharon Naidl, Manitowoc, Arthur and Darcy Naidl Jr., Manitowoc, two daughters and sons-in-law, Lavern and John Larson, Manitowoc, Diane and Donald Kloster, Northfield, Minn.; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Clara Swetlik, Manitowoc, and her special friend Homer Mallion, Hildal Wellner, Manitowoc, Violet and Paul Behnke, Brillion. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter.

Friends may call at the Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville, on Sunday, from 4-8 p.m. and on Monday at the Church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

A memorial fund has been established for Faith Lutheran Church.
