Elsie Elizabeth Naidl, age 94, formerly of 1405 Highway H Road, Manitowoc, died Friday, May 6, 2005 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.

Elsie was born Feb. 22, 1911 in the town of Newton, daughter of the late Robert and Emma (Schulz) Dickert. On Oct. 22, 1934 she married Arthur J. Naidl at First Reformed Church, Manitowoc. Arthur preceded her in death April 1, 1993. They celebrated 58 years together. She was employed at Mirro Co. and Foster Needle prior to her retirement and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. Elsie enjoyed dancing, playing cards and telling jokes.

Survivors include her children: Lawrence (Sharon) Naidl, Manitowoc; Diane (Donald) Kloster, Northfield, Minn.; Arthur, Jr. (Darcy) Naidl, Manitowoc; son-in-law: John (Gwynn) Larson, Green Bay; grandchildren: John (Julie) Larson; Jeffrey (Jennifer) Larson; Pamela (William) Schuk; David (Janie) Larson; Brenda (Ken) Osesek; Deanna (Leon Couch) Kloster; Amy (Jim) Towar; Sara (Adam) Ailabouni; Jodi Kloster and fiance Matthew Iverson; great grandchildren: Joshua Larson and fiance April Hetle; Megan Larson; Amy, Katie, and Nicole Larson; Tiffany, Ryan, Brandon and Adam Schuk; Eric and Samuel Osesek; Elizabeth Kloster Couch; Lucas Ailabouni; sisters: Clara Swetlik, Francis Creek; Hilda Wuellner, Manitowoc; sister-in-law: Edith Dickert, Green Bay, close family friend: Leo Zipperer, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband Arthur, Elsie is predeceased by her daughter: LaVern Larson; infant grand daughter: Debra Larson; brothers: Paul, Edward, Alvin and Robert Dickert; sisters: Olga Lindemann, Adeline Pietersen, and Violet Behnke and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Faith Lutheran Church, Valders. The Rev. Lauren Ley will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends will meet the family from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State St., Manitowoc, and on Tuesday at Faith Lutheran Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.

Our family would like to thank the staffs at Laurel Grove and Shady Lane Nursing Care Center-Medicare Unit for their kind and loving care. Your thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
