Alvin Dickert, 50, of Rt. 1, Reedsville, Town of Maple Grove, died unexpectedly of a heart attack Monday afternoon at the home of Herman Zimmerman for whom he had been a hired hand for some 20 years.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the St. John and James Evangelicl Lutheran Church, Reedsville, the Rev. John Wendland officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born April 17, 1906, son of Robert and Emma Schultz Dickert of Potter, Calumet County. He never married.

Surviving is his mother, Mrs. Emma Lemke of Manitowoc; three brothers, Paul, Edward and Robert of Manitowoc; six sisters, Mrs. Paul Lindeman of Sheboygan Falls, Mr. Arthur Naidl of Manitowoc Rapids, Mrs. Edward Swetlik of Francis Creek, Mrs. Cyril Wellner of Manitowoc, Mrs. Paul Behnke of Brillion and Mrs. Chris Peltersen of Manitowoc. His father preceded him in death in 1923.

Friends may call at the Reedsville Funeral Home until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until the time of services.
