Blanche A. Nelson, 86, of North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc, died Thursday evening, Nov. 8, at the Center.
Private services will be Monday at Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. David L. Klutterman will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Nelson, was born Dec. 8, 1897, at Branch, Wis., daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Peroutka Carbon. She grew up and was educated at Branch and graduated from Manitowoc High School. She was employed at Mirro Company and later worked for the late Dr. McCullum as a secretary and receptionist for many years. She was married to Raymond Napiezinski and he preceded her in death in 1948. She then was married to Floyd Nelson, in November of 1957 and he preceded her in death in April of 1975. Mrs. Nelson was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Manitowoc and was a former Sunday School Teacher of the church.
Survivors include a brother, John Carbon of Branch, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Cizek of Manitowoc and Mrs. Leonore Schroder of Neenah, Wis., nieces, nephews, other relatives. She was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
There will be no visitation.
