Baldwin's Regiment of Artificers. He later serves on the court of common pleas, is appointed a county lieutenant then brigade inspector, he serves as a state senator for Allegheny and Washington counties, serves as a member in the Pa. House of Representatives, and then is elected sheriff. He is said to have died from an injury received when he fell from a horse.
