Wife of Louis A. Larocque, Adele was the mother of eight children. Six predeceased her and left this Earth far too soon- Anonyme, son Ephraim, daughter Marie Clara, daughter Marie Aime Albina, twin sons Joseph Welley and Andre Freddy. Her two surviving sons, Louis and Charles, made a living for themselves in the United States.

Louis and Adele moved just before the Civil War to New Hampshire where they were married, and during the conflict they moved to Massachusetts. After a few years there they returned to Acton Vale, Quebec, where she spent the rest of her days.

Her grave is unmarked at St-Andre-d'Acton, as it was represented by a wooden cross that has long since faded into obscurity.
