She entered St. Cecilia Congregation in 1953, receiving her education degree from Siena College in Memphis and her master's in education administration from the University of Tennessee.
Sister Camille taught in many schools in Tennessee and Virginia, including Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Newport News, VA and St. Mary Star of the Sea School in Hampton, VA.
From 1982-1988, Sister Camille served as Principal of Saint Mary's School in Oak Ridge, TN.
From 1988-1998, she served as Principal of Our Lady of Mount Carmel School in Newport News, VA. During her administration at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, enrollment doubled, necessitating an addition of a new building in 1997, the Camille/Williams Building. In November 1992, she was named Educator of the Year in the Diocese of Richmond.
She also served as a general councilor for her Congregation and dean of the education program at Aquinas College in Nashville.
