Thomas C. Beadle age 86, of Caseville died Friday evening, August 20, at the Huron County Medical Care Facility. He was born September 21, 1917, at the home of his parents, the late Darling and Frances (Nicklas) Beadle in Caseville. On November 22, 1941, he was united in marriage to Mildred Stoddard at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Detroit. She preceded him in death July 7, 1998. Tom served in the US Army during WW II. When he returned home, he organized the Pvt. James D Donovan VFW Post# 7910 in Dearborn Hts. and held the first meeting in his basement. He had been employed at Detroit Engineering for more than 20 years, retiring in 1971 for health reasons and returned to Caseville that same year. Tom was a very active member of St. Roch Catholic Church, past commander and life member of the Pvt. James D Donovan VFW and the Caseville American Legion and was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Caseville-Pigeon.
