"TODDSVILLE - Local relatives and neighbors regret to learn of the death of William Armstrong at the home of his sister, Mrs. Byron Guywitz at Frankfort, Friday evening the 23rd following an illness of several months' duration. Mr. Armstrong has been a resident of Toddsville for the past several years and a resident of Otsego county all his life. Born at Fly Creek, August 4, 1881, he was united in marriage with Miss Minnie Dunham at Middlefield Center, September 4, 1901. Mrs. Armstrong's death occurred in the town of Hartwick two years ago. Since then Mr. Armstrong has lived at his local residence until two months ago he went to the home of the sister above mentioned. Mr. Armstrong was employed as a laborer and generally well liked by employers and associates. Surviving are a son and a daughter, Henry, and Mrs. Bertha Cleary, both of Toddsville, the sister above named and three brothers, Fred of Fly Creek, Frank of Oneonta and George of Ballston Lake, also two grandchildren to all of whom is tendered sincere sympathy in their bereavement ... interment in Fly Creek Valley cemetery."
