Roy P. Fessler, 61, of 1214 N. Eight St., Manitowoc, died this morning at Holy Family Hospital.
He was born March 13, 1923, at St. Nazianz, a son of George and Luella Rautmann Fessler.
He married Betty Wilbershide on May 6, 1950, at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War in Germany and Japan.
Mr. Fessler was employed at Wisconsin Fuel and Light Co., Manitowoc.
Survivors are his wife, two sons, Jay of Alexandria, Va. and Jon, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Ann) Kenevan of Green Bay and Mrs. John (Joy) Giligren of Sheboygan; a brother, Ralph of Sheboygan a sister, Mrs. Nelda Wiegand of Sheboygan; and five grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Family rites will be held at 9:30 a.m. at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be held there at 8 Friday evening.
