Verona Stolzmann

Verona Emma Stolzmann, 84, village of Cleveland resident, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2002, at Morningside Health Center, Sheboygan, where she had been a patient since June. Born Dec. 14, 1917, in the Town of Meeme, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Ella Arnoldi Henschel.

On Nov. 20, 1937, she was united in marriage to Clarence Stolzmann at St. James U.C.C., Spring Valley. The couple resided on the Stolzmann homestead farm until 1941 when they moved to Cleveland. Clarence preceded her in death July 7, 2001. Verona was a member of St. James U.C.C. and its Ladies Aid. She enjoyed her card clubs and baseball.

Survivors are: two sons and daughters-in-law, Allen (Eunice) Stolzmann, Cleveland, and Lloyd (Jane) Stolzmann, Kiel; four grandchildren, Mike Stolzmann, Sheboygan, Mark (Kathy) Stolzmann, Cleveland, Becky (Jason) Litwaities,Milwaukee, and Amy Stolzmann, Kirksville, Mo.; three great-grandchildren, Eric, Rachel and Brittany Stolzmann, Cleveland; one sister-in-law, Frieda Stolzmann, Sheboygan.

Preceding Verona in death were her parents, her husband, Clarence, two brothers, Leslie and Herbert Henschel and one sister, Irma Schmitt.

Because of construction at St James U.C.C., funeral services will be held 7 p.m. July 16 at St. Mark's U.C.C., Dairyland Drive, Town of Mosel. Pastor William Keating will officiate. Burial will be Wednesday morning at St. James U.C.C. Cemetery, Town of Meeme. Friends may call at St.
Mark's U.C.C., Dairyland Drive from 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2002, until the hour of service.

A memorial fund has been established in Verona Stolzmann's name. Stoltenberg Funeral Chapel, Cleveland, is handling the arrangements.
