August Heimermann, 82, formerly of W3124 Hickory Hills Road and a resident of Chilton Village Nursing Home, died there Wednesday, May 11.
He was born July 9, 1900, in the town of Brothertown, son of the late Servantious and Anna Moyer Heimermann. On June 2, 1924, he married Theresa Broeckel at Charlesburg. The couple farmed in the town of Chilton, and he was employed at K.T.CO., Chilton, for 22 years, until retiring in 1967. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Chilton.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Mrs. Frank (Pauline) Rick and Mrs. Norbert (Elsie) Mueller, both of New Holstein, Mrs. Dorothy Christopherson of Kiel, Mrs. Rosaline Nennig of Elkhart Lake, and Mrs. Roland (Loretta) Gerhartz, of Stockbridge; a son, Glenroy, of Chilton; 29 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Arnold (Katherine) Schmid, of Camas, Wash.; and two brothers, Frederick, of Chilton, and Edward of Dotyville. He was preceded in death by a grandson, a great grandson, two sisters and three brothers.
There was a funeral Mass in St. Augustine Catholic Church, Chilton. The Rev. David Christel, pastor, was celebrant of the Mass, which was preceded by family rites at the Wieting Funeral Home, Chilton. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
