Mrs. John Geiger, 56, of 311 W Water St., Brillion, died Saturday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital in Manitowoc, following a long illness. Born July 17, 1904 in Manitowoc Rapids, she was a daughter of Mary (Kukrat) Kaderabek.
She graduated from Branch Elementary School and attended Manitowoc County Normal School following her graduation from Manitowoc Lincoln High School.
She married John Kohlbeck in June, 1943. He preceded her in death in February, 1952.Her marriage to John Geiger was solemnized May 23, 1953. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Brillion. Survivors are her husband, three step-children, Leroy and Kenneth Geiger of Brillion and Mrs. Roman (Lenore) Endries of Marytown; four brothers, Edwin Kaderabek of Sheboygan, Frank of Branch, Clarence and Lester of Rt.2, Manitowoc; and four sisters, Mrs. Harold Eick of Milwaukee, Miss Adeline Kaderabek of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Luke Mrotek of Manitowoc and Mrs. Glenn Jill of Phoenix, Ariz. She was also preceded in death by one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Brillion. The Rev. Raymond Schauer, pastor, will be celebrant of the requiem Mass and burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery at Clarks Mills. Friends may call at Wieting's Funeral Home in Brilliion after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Parishoners will recite the rosary at the church at 7 p.m. Tuesday and at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
