LESTER D. KADERABEK

Lester D. Kaderabek, age 86, of 6403 Homestead Road, town of
Manitowoc Rapids, entered eternal life late Monday afternoon,
Feb. 5, 2007, at the family residence.
Lester was born April 30, 1920 in the town of Manitowoc Rapids.
He was the son of the late Anton and Mary Kukral Kaderabek.
Lester attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class
of 1938. He continued his education at the Chicago Conservatory
of Music, Chicago, Ill. He entered the U.S. Army Air Corp,
serving overseas during World War II in India for three years.
After being honorably discharged, Lester then went back to school
attending the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago receiving
his Bachelor of Arts degree in music. Lester had been employed
with various musical groups singing as a tenor and traveled across
the United States attending national musical programs. He also had
been employed for 46 years with Fuller Brush Company from where he
retired holding the position of area manager. Lester was still
active with some of his past customers taking orders at the present
time. On Oct. 24, 1952, he married Ruth Spaly in Chicago, Ill.
Lester was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto Oas
Post 659.

He was preceded in death by one son: William in 1974; two brothers:
Edwin and Frank Kaderabek; four sisters: Viola Geiger; Mildred Eick;
Marion Brost; and Adeline Kaderabek.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, 2007,
at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor
Steve Cole with military rites to follow which will be accorded by
the Veterans of Foreign Wars Otto Oas Post 659. Burial will take
place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home
on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, North 11th
and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with
funeral arrangements.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Ruth; on son: Larry Kaderabek, and special friend: Debbie Denzer, Sheboygan Falls; one daughters: Marianne Quinn and special friend: Kirk Tietz, town of Manitowoc Rapids; one brother: Clarence and Caroline Kaderabek, rural Manitowoc; two sisters: Edna Mrotek, Manitowoc; Olivia Gill, Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren: Adam (Tammy) Quinn, Karen Quinn, Shawn Quinn; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends surviving.
