Mandy Hicks Coburn, 95, formerly of Coretta, WVA, passed away Sunday,August 29,2004 at the New River Valley Medical Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo Coburn, two daughters, Phyllis Griffith and Juanita Coburn, one son, Thomas Coburn, and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She is survived by: three sisters, Martha Agnes and Theron Phillips of Floyd, Sylvia M. Quesenberry of Westminster, Maryland and Freda Y. Giron of Hanover, PA; two sons, Bill and Thresa Coburn, Mentor, OH and Alonzo Donald Coburn of Floyd; 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Faye Bates of Chatanooga, TN and Lola Tate of Jacksonville, FL, one brother, Jack Hicks of Jacksonville, Florida.

Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd, with Reverend Kenny Wurzburger and Dr. Harold Adams officiating. Interment was in White Rock Cemetery. Donations may be made to the White Rock Church of the Brethren.
