Christian Science funeral services for Zdenek (Dan) Nespor, 77, who died Friday at Bryce Hospital, Tuscaloosa, Ala., will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Cremation will follow.

Mr. Nespor was born May 13, 1885 at Manitowoc, son of the late John and Julia Maresh Nespor and attended Manitowoc public schools. In 1912, he married Marcella Parsons at Birmingham, Ala., and was a recreation director in that city for many years.

He was active in gymnastics work in the old Opera House at Manitowoc, and started the Hiking Club here. He was assistant athletic director at the University of Wisconsin and during World War I was athletic director for the armed forces at Palmyra, N.Y.

Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Ladonia Geisler, Mrs. Carl J. Geisler and Mrs. Al Henricks of Manitowoc and nephews and nieces. His wife, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home.
