Advance - Funeral services for Mrs. Mollie Abernathy of Advance were held Sunday at the Morgan Funeral Home here. Burial was in the Morgan Memorial Park Cemetery here.
Mrs. Abernathy was a native of Rogers, Ark. She died Friday in a Poplar Bluff hospital. She was a member of the Brownwood General Baptist Church.
She married Jobe Abernathy in 1911, he preceded her in death Sept. 21, 1962.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Beulah Hill and Miss Bernice Abernathy; a son Doyle William Abernathy; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A son, Edward Abernathy, also preceded her in death.
