DARLINGTON — Lillian Adams Kelly Whiteside, 92, of Darlington died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 21 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mt. Elon Cemetery.

Mrs. Whiteside was born in Darlington County, daughter of the late Edward L. and Mary Elizabeth King Adams. She was a devoted housewife and the widow of M. Frank Kelly and then B.W. Whiteside. Lillian was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sisters; Viola A. Cox, Betty A. Bausch both of Wilmington, N.C., a brother, Edwin L. Adams of Cummings, G.A., and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry Adams and her sister, Mildred Daniels.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
