Christina, wife of James Savage, Sr., died very suddenly at her home, Dec. 16 of acute pneumonia, at the age of 74 years. She was born in Canada, living most of her life there, and coming here four years ago. She has made many friends, for to know her was to lover her.

She was of a sunny supposition, a lifelong Christian, one whose daily life showed in whom she put her trust. She is survived by a husband, five sons and two daughters, Hugh of Beecher Falls, John of Oklahoma, Dan of Northwestern Canada, Mrs. John Campbell of Inverness, P.Q., Neil and Mrs. Ernest Remick of this place, and James, with whom she lived, besides fourteen grandchildren.

Her children were all with her during her illness, except Dan who was unable to come. What seems remarkable is that this is the only break in the family, except one son who died in childhood.

She was a faithful wife and mother, an will be greatly missed in her home. Our sympathies go out to the entire family , especially to the aged husband, to whom she has been a loving companion for 49 years. We know if can be said of her, "Well done, good and fateful servant."
