WILLIAM KRAYNIK

William Kraynik, 95, died early Monday morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wilda, of 1611 New York Ave., Manitowoc, where he made his home.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, the Rev. Gervase Zanotti officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Kraynik was born Aug. 17, 1871, in the Town of Franklin, Kewaunee County, son of the late John and Anna Ackerman Kraynik. June 11, 1901, he married Anna Etersky at Melnik. They operated a store and tavern in Boldt and then moved to Maribel, where they operated a hotel and tavern until 1944. Mrs. Kraynik died in 1944.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Wilda and Mrs. George Meyers, of Manitowoc, four grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Three sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home, State Street entrance, after 4 p.m. Tuesday.
