Edward S. Krajnek, age 93, formerly of 1138 Elm St., Manitowoc, died Saturday afternoon, May 31, 2003, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2003, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Gerald Foley with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Edward was born on Sept. 23, 1909. in the town of Gibson, Manitowoc County, son of the late Edward and Mary Kouba Krajnek. On Sept. 7, 1938, he married Agnes Mary Kvitek in Denmark; she preceded him in death on Feb. 18, 1991. Edward was employed at Whitehouse Milk Co. for many years, retiring in 1972.
Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, Victor and Winifred Krajnek and Robert Krajnek, all of Manitowoc; three grandchildren, Kelly (Jeff) Kautzer, Green Bay, David (Angela) Krajnek and Andrew Krajnek and special friend, Allison Brandl, all of Manitowoc; two great grandchildren, John Jack" Kautzer and Lauren Kautzer; four sisters, Mary Novak, Manitowoc, Lillian Malach and Libby Taicher, both of Green Bay and Marcella Aschenbrenner, Manitowoc; one brother, Joseph (Olive) Krajnek, Maribel; three brothers-in-law, John Kvitek, Denmark, Joseph (Germaine) Kvitek, Melnik and Clarence Kvitek, Appleton. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Josephine Lodl, Agnes Pech and Emma Schroeder; two sisters-in-law, Marlene Kvitek and Alice Shedivy, and seven brothers-in-law, Alvin Novak, Walter Malach, Benjamin Lodl, Ralph Schroeder, Robert Taicher, Alois Krall and Quirin Pech.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday evening at Holy Innocents Catholic Church from 5
p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
