"RUSSIAVILLE -- Mrs. Clara Rostron, 91,. Chicago, Illinois, former resident of Russiaville, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday in Kankakee State Hospital at Kankakee, Ill.
She had been in failing health for one year.
Born near Logansport, Sept. 27, 1874, she was the daughter of William and Louise (Hughes) Warden.
In 1896 she was married to John Rostron, who preceded her in death in 1945.
She attended the Russiaville Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, William Rostron, Muncie; a daughter Mrs. Zelda Pease, Chicago, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Arelia Shackleford, Kokomo; two brothers Pearl Warden, Russiaville, and Earl Warden, Kokomo; five grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren.
One daughter, three sisters and two brothers are deceased.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Stout Funeral Home.
