World War II, died shortly after 6:30 a.m. Monday at Two Rivers Municipal
Hospital. He was stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage while attending a wedding
anniversary reception of a friend at Eastwin Hall, near Two Rivers, Sunday
night.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Deja and Martin Funeral
Chapels, Two Rivers, and at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, the Rev. H.J.
Schmitz officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Mr. Daul was born Feb. 8, 1922, at Two Rivers, son of the late Barney and Mrs.
Alice Frasch Daul. He attended St. Luke Parochial School and Washington High
School at Two River and then enlisted in the Army, serving in the Philippines.
After the war he returned to his employment at Hamilton Mfg. Co., Two Rivers,
with which firm he was employed for more than 20 years. He was a member of
Hamilton Goodfellowship Club and Hamilton 20-Year Club as well as Eleven GOLD
Star Post 1248, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Two Rivers, and St. Joseph Athletic
Assn., and Holy Name Society of St. Luke parish. Mr. Daul was also well known
in bowling circles in the area.
Besides his mother he leaves a sister, Mrs. Arle Kepke, of Manitowoc and several
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the funeral chapel after 3 p.m. Tuesday where the Rosary
will be recited at 8 p.m. Members of Eleven Gold Star Post will meet in a body
at the chapel at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The Holy Name Society will recite the Rosary at 7:15 p.m.
