Mrs. Edna Olive Hunsberger, 85, a resident of Lamartine for the past 50 years and widow of Dalton Hunsberger, died in her home at 12:30 PM Wednesday following an extended illness. She was born in Franklin, October 1, 1888, a daughter of George Meade and Martha Rhoades Latshaw. She was married December 15, 1923, to Dalton Hunsberger, who died in 1956. Mrs. Hunsberger was a member of Saleme United Church of Christ in Lamartine and the Ladies Aid Society of the church. She was a former member of the Salem Grange. Surviving are a son, Richard L. Hunsberger of Lamartine; a daughter, Mrs. Gaylord (Martha) Woodard of South Point, Ohio; two step daughters, Mrs. Charles (Olive) Berringer of Leesburg, Florida and Mrs. Joseph (Mildred) Elder of Parker; a brother, Howard C. Latshaw of Knox; five grandchildren, four step grandchildren and nine step grandchildren. Friends will be received after 7 PM today at the Roy P. Stuart Funeral Home in Knox, where funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday. Rev. Douglas Garland, pastor of the United Church of Christ in Lamartine, will officiate. Interment will be in the United Church of Christ Cemetery.
