Mrs. J. B. Honeycutt
Mrs. Honeycutt, the widow of the late Dr. J. B. Honeycutt, died at her home on Green street, Friday, of typhoid, combined with a weak heart. Mrs. Honeycutt had been ill for several weeks and her life had been dispaired of, but death came with more suddeness than was expected. She is survived by two children, Miss Verda and Mr. Wendell Honeycutt, both living here and among our most popular young people. One sister, Mrs. Zack Payne, of Nobob, also survives her. She was the daughter of the late Dr. Hume of the Tracy country, a strict member of the Baptist church and a lady held in high esteem by all her acquaintances. Funeral services were held at the residence, Saturday, Rev. A. Paul Bagby, after which the remains were laid beside those of her late husband, in the Glasgow cemetery. Transcribed by Laura J. Stewart.
