Rose Marie Ording, age 75, formerly of 409 S. 30th St., Manitowoc, died Friday, May 31, 1996, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, June 3, 1996, at St. Mary's Home Chapel. Rev. Tom Wojciechowski, O.F.M. will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial will (sic) interment at Evergreen Cemetery.
Rose Marie was born June 10, 1920, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank and Rosalia Kohlbeck Dornaus. She grew up and was educated in Manitowoc and was a 1937 graduate of Lincoln High School. Rose Marie was employed at Holy Family Hospital for many years and retired in 1973. She married Elmer J. Ording, November 6, 1945, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Elmer preceded her in death on May 29, 1991. They celebrated 45 years of marriage together. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Rose Marie enjoyed bowling and bridge.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Cheryl Ording, Glendale, Wis.; two granddaughters, Sara and Elizabeth Ording; one brother, Ed Dornaus, Manitowoc; one sister, Theresa Ryder, Manitowoc; two sisters-in-law, Beatrice Dornaus and Barbara Jackl, both of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Reinhart and Robert Dornaus; one step-brother, Harold Jackl; one step-sister, Sr. Martin Tour.
Relatives and friends may call at the St. Mary Home Chapel after 8 a.m. Monday until the time of service at 9 a.m.
