John P. Osesek, 92, of 1134 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday evening at his residence.


Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday in Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.


Mr. Osesek, was born Aug. 18, 1886, in Manitowoc, son of the late Thomas and Anna Glysch Osesek. He married Pauline A. Drill Oct. 25, 1909, in St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. and Mrs. Osesek celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1959. Mr. Osesekk had been employed with Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, Eck Foundry and Manitowoc Grey Iron Foundry and was a member of Molder and Foundry Workers Local 301.


Survivors include his wife, two sons, Florian of Manitowoc and Edwin of Rogers City, Mich.; four daughters and sons-in-law, Irene and Ted Becker, Dolores and Victor Ceaglske and Susan and Robert Vogel of Manitowoc and Lucille and Elmer Koch of Route 2, Two Rivers; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Nowak and Mrs. Julius (Cecilia) Wergin of Manitowoc, 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Five brothers and a sister preceded him in death.


Friends may call in Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
