Mrs. Robert Owen, 62, of 617 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. T. M. Uetzmann will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Ella Cerull was born at Manitowoc June 28, 1901, a daughter of the late August and Augusta Wagner Cerull. She was married April 23, 1922, to Robert Owen at Detroit and the couple lived until 1928 at Chicago, coming to Manitowoc. Her husband died in 1936.
She is survived by four sons, Robert with U. S. Army at Augusta, Ga., Donald with U.S. Air Force at Catult, Mass., Harry of Milwaukee and Norman of Manitowoc; a daughter, Mrs. Herman (Shirley) Bruss of Wilmington, Calif.; a brother, Emil Cerull of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Louise Herman of Manitowoc and three grandchildren. A son was killed in Korea in 1951.
Friends may call at the Ninth Street entrance of the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
