Hubert Eugene Parsley, of Lead Hill, died on July 29, 2012 at Skaggs Medical Center in Branson. He was 88 years old.
The son of T.A. and Dovie (Green) Parsley was born on September 2, 1923 at Lead Hill, Arkansas.
Gene was a veteran serving in the Army Medical Corps European Theatre for 4 years during WWII.
He had worked as the General Manager for the Holiday Inn in Oxford, MS for 35 years before returning to Lead Hill. Gene also served as Lead Hill Mayor for 12 years.
Gene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lead Hill and belonged to the VFW and American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers and sisters, Adam, Alice, Roy, Clayton, Frank, Lewis and Alta.
