He would have been 22 on May 25. The crash occurred when Leclair's car missed a curve and hurdled an embankment in Mishicot at 12:30 a.m.

"A passenger in the car, Harvey Frasch, 23, of Two Rivers, escaped with head laceration. Both men were taken to Two Rivers Municipal hospital in Meihsner's ambulance. LeClair died five hours later of a skull fracture, according to Coroner Theodore Teitgen.

"The LeClair car had just crossed the East Twin bridge in Mishicot when it failed to make a left turn, according to the report of County Officers Jack Jackson and William Falvey. It rolled over in a field. LeClair was pinned between the open door and the frame of the overturned car. He was freed by Meihsner employes.
