Survived by his wife of 28 years, Mary Helen Chavez of Hayden; sisters Odelia Aguirre of Globe and Rosalie (Jimmy) Garcia of Hayden; sister-in-law Margaret Rodriguez (Marcelino Garcia), of Tucson; nephews and nieces Leonard Aguirre, Lisa (Nick) Garcia, all of Globe, Leticia Garcia of Dudleyville, Steven and Jaime Garcia, both of Gilbert, Jose Rodriguez of Tucson and Pearl (Maruf) Olabode of Phoenix; uncles Frank (Esther) Chavez of Phoenix, Rex (Angie) Chavez of Tucson, Jose (Carmen) Chavez of Phoenix; and aunt Angelina Torres of Burbank, CA. Preceded in death by sister, Lisa Chavez, parents, grandparents, 6 uncles and 2 aunts.
