CHISM - MRS. GWENDOLYN J. BRY-
ANT, 55, of 406 N. Lovell Ave., Chattanooga,
died Saturday morning in a local hospital.
She was a member of Trinity United Metho-
dist Church and retired in 1976 as a nurse at
Memorial Hospital with 22 years of service.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey
Chism; son, Dewey A. Bryant, Chattnooga;
three sisters, Mrs. Joyce W. Bock and Mrs.
Barbara Jo Johnson, both of Signal Moun-
tain, and Mrs. Nadine Julian, Hixson; three
brothers, Richard Sivley, Fort Oglethorpe,
Phillip Sivley, East Ridge, and Larry Sivley,
Harrison. Service will be held at 1 p.m.
today in the funeral home chapel with the
Rev. Gene Kirk officiating. Burial will be in
Lakewood Memory Gardens, East. Pall-
bearers will be Bob Orton, Ernest Julian,
Troy Sivley, George and Adam Bock and
Mike Arms. The body is at the East Chapel
of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 S. Moore
Road.
