William N Bolz, Sr., 70 of Columbia Street, Chilton, died suddenly at his home Monday.

He was born in Sheboygan, Jan. 2, 1888 the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nicolas Bolz.

He was employed at the Aluminum Specialty Co., Chilton, for many years. He belonged to the Holy Name Society of St. Mary’s church, Chilton, and the Equitable Reserve.
He married Miss Catherine Schoenung Oct 20, 1909 at St. Wendel Church at St. Wendel.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, William Jr., Alois, both of Chilton, and Gilbert of St. Wendel, four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Lucille) Bittner and Mrs. David (Joyce) Hauser, both of Chilton, Mrs. Frank (Josephine) Valenta, Mishicot, and Mrs. Margaret Kane, Greenleaf; one brother, Emil of Sheboygan; four sisters, Mrs. Fred Herman, Mrs. Fred Fesing and Mrs. Arthur Gerlat, all of Sheboygan, and Mrs. Charles Brandt, Manitowoc; 26 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

One son, one brother and one sister preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Bartelme. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
