Elder "Paulette" Price, age 65, went to be with the Lord August 3, 2012, at Fayette Medical Center in Fayette, Al.
She was born October 23, 1946, In Pickens County, Al. she was the daughter of Woodrow and Evenlyn Kelley McAdams. She had been married to her husband, Virgil Price, for 47 years. Mrs. Price was predeceased in death by her parents, and her brother, Tim McAdams.
Funeral services will be today, August 5, 2012, at 3 p.m. from Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. David Honeycutt officiating, assisted by Bro. Dan Finney. Visitation will be today from 1 to 3 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Millport City Cemetery. Dowdle Funeral Home of Millport, Al. is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Virgil Price of Millport, Al. daughter,; Stephanie Aldridge (Bryan) of Kennedy, Al. son,; Richie Price (Stacy) of Reform, Al.; two grandsons, Kyle Aldridge and Baylee Price; and a host of cousins, neices, nephews and friends, along with special family friends, Frances Parker and Mark Howard.
Mrs. Price was a loving wife, mother, nana and friend to many people. Her love for her family, especially her grandsons, was the light of her life. Her love will live in all of her family forever.
Pallbearers will be Lloyd Price, Dennis Price, Bruce Meyers, Glen Akin, Alex Price, and Jacob Price.
Honorary pallbearers are Fayette Medical Center, ICU employees, Vincent and Frances FMC Respiratory Therapist, Fayette Long Term Care Nursing Home, Dr.Jon Sanford, Alabama Power co. Fayette, South Lamar Baseball Team, Prater Subdivision.
