Death From Scarlet Fever.

Scarlet fever has broken out in the
home of Mr. and Mrs. L. Fryhling.
They lost one of their little children
last Friday night of the disease. The
little one, a girl two years and four
months old, was taken sick about a
week before its death. It appeared to
be getting along all right but was
taken violently ill a short time before
it died. The funeral was held Sunday
forenoon at nine o'clock, being private
because of the nature of the disease.
Rev. Swinnerton officiated at
the grave. The little child was at the
age when children fasten themselves
on human affection so strongly. This
verse from a Sunday school song the
child used to sing when home with the
other children:
I washed my hands this morning
So very clean and white
I gave them both to Jesus
To work for him till night
Little feet be careful
Where you take me to
Anything for Jesus only let me do
