Reinhard A. "Reine" Harder, 97, of Menasha, formerly of Potter, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2001, at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center in Menasha.
He was born June 29, 1903 in the Town of Chilton, son of the late Fred and Mary (Pagel) Harder. He married Viola Fink on Nov. 8, 1930, at Waukegan, Ill.
Reine worked for The Central Garage in Potter for 59 years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion.
He is survived by a daughter, Audrey Harder of Milwaukee, and a son, Donald "Pat" Harder of Menasha; one brother, Frederick (Marcella) Harder of Hilbert; four sister-in-laws, Lorine Harder, Regina Brooks, Katie Fink and Lorraine McDaniels; and three brothers-in-law, Bennie Duchow, Kenneth Fink, and Robert Fink.
He was then preceded in death by his wife Viola of 6 years, twin brother Leonard, brother Gerhard, and two sisters, Esther Duchow, and Elnora Deno.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 14 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Ross Henzi will officiate. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery, Hilbert.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
