Center, the daughter of Louis R. and
Caroline Wagner Misegadis. A lifetime Rush
County resident, she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Hope Lutheran
Church and the Church
On Dec. 11, 1932, she married Fred H.
Dirks at Ellis. He died July 8,1979.
Survivors include: two sons, the Rev.
Paul Dirks, Broomfield, Colo., and Neil
Dirks, Rush Center; two daughters, Elaine
Wolter, Green Cove Springs, Fla., and Arlene
Finch, Birmingham, Ala.; a brother, Dean
Misegadis, Rush Center; four sisters,
Esther Dirks, La Crosse, Edna Dirks, Dodge
City, Henrietta Dirks, Scott City, and
Evelyn Rush,Rush Center; seven
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the
Hope Lutheran Church, Rush Center, with the
Rev. Evelyn Phillips presiding. Burial will
be in the La Crosse City Cemetery. Memorials
may be sent to the Oaks Indian Mission or to
the American Parkinson's Association, both in
care of Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse.
