Elvin Messer
Elvin .Messer, 75, of Highland
Bend, Sciotoville Rt. 4, died early
today in Mercy Hospital.
A native of Greenup, Ky., he
was a member of Swauger Valley
Freewill Baptist Church
and the Sciotoville post of the
Veterans of Foreign War. He
was a retired Wheeling Steel
Corp. employe, and a veteran of
World War I.
Surviving are three daughters,
Mrs. Florine Jackson of
Sciotoville Rt. 4, Mrs. Irene
Maple. 2722 Shawnee Rd., and
Mrs. Ethel Wood. 1545 Fifth St.:
three sons. Estel Messer of
West Palm Beach, Fla., Norman
Messer of Chicago, and Ralph
Messer of New Orleans. La.:
and a sister, Mrs. Neil Cox of
Wurtland, Ky.
Funeral services are to be at
1 p.m. Tuesday at Gill Funeral
Home with Rev. Millard Green
officiating. Burial is to be in
Floral Hills Cemetery.
