Requiem mass will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More church for Ella Cooke, 81, 2015 S.W. 79th avenue, who died Thursday at a local hospital. Recitation of the rosary will be Monday at 8:30 p.m. at the Hennessey, Goetsch and McGee Funeral home. Burial will be in Rose City cemetery.
Mrs. Cooke was born March 8, 1875, in Sylvan. She was a lifetime resident of the Portland area.
Her husband, the late Oscar Cooke, died in 1955. Survivors include a niece, Helen Lovin, Portland. Oregonian, February 10, 1957
