OBITUARY
Mrs. Florence McKay, 82, Golden Age Home resident, formerly of Cadott, died January 2 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls. She was born July 31, 1896 in Chippewa Falls, daughter of Edward and Elizabeth McGrath. She grew up in the Town of Howard, and attended Notre Dame Grade School and the Chippewa Falls public high school. On Nov. 25, 1914 she married Frank McKay at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cadott. They farmed in the Town of Goetz until the past year, when they were at the Golden Age Home, Chippewa Falls.
She was a charter member of the Little Flower Circle of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cadott.
She is preceded in death by one daughter, one son, and one sister.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Reginald, Chippewa Falls; four daughters, Mrs. Dominic (Shirlie) Lisuzzo, Franklin Park, Ill, Mrs. Louie (Margaret) Havens, Santa Cruz, Calif., Mrs. Norman (Gene) Willkom, Cadott, and Mrs. Thomas (Eileen) Anderson, Chippewa Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Alleen Ware, Kingman, Ariz., Mrs. Janet Kinson, Bowhead City, Nev., and Mrs. Albina Peterson, Augusta Nursing Home resident; and 26 grandchildren.
A funeral service was held January 5 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cadott, the Rev. Jerome Gerum officiating. Pallbearers were Robert McKay, Steven Anderson, Richard Anderson, Dennis Willdom, Michael Willkom and Scott Willkom. Interment was in the church cemetery.
