SOPHIA BIERMAN (d. 1925)

MRS. SOPHIA BERMAN(sic) DIES SUNDAY EVE
Death came to Mrs. Sophia Biermann(sic), wife of Ernest Bierman, Rural Route
3, northwest of this city, Saturday evening as a release from suffering. She
had been ill for several months. The funeral will be held tomorrow, Tuesday,
afternoon with services at the home at 1:30 and at St. Paul’s Lutheran church,
Tenth and St. Clair streets, at 2 o’clock, the Rev. Espeseth officiating.
Burial will be at Evergreen.
Mrs. Biermann, nee Sanderson, was born in this city March 3, 1874 and was
fifty-one years old. She always made the city her home and fifteen years ago
was married to Ernest Biermann who with four children, Gladys, Esther, Roland
and Lynn, survives to mourn her death. Four brothers and one sister, all of
this city, also survive her. Mrs. Biermann was a member of St. Paul’s congre-
gation and an active worker in the church. She was also a member of the Ladies
Aid society of the church.
